Son climat est chaud et humide la majeure partie de l&#039;ann\u00e9e, avec une baisse d&#039;humidit\u00e9 en hiver. La fontaine de Djeddah, un jet d&#039;eau atteignant 260 m\u00e8tres de hauteur, est un attrait majeur du paysage saoudien. Djeddah est \u00e9galement un carrefour important pour les p\u00e8lerins musulmans se rendant \u00e0 La Mecque et \u00e0 M\u00e9dine pour le Hajj, par voie terrestre, maritime et a\u00e9rienne. Ce projet a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 environ 5\u00a0475 tonnes d&#039;acier.
