La premi\u00e8re phase du projet consiste en 2 unit\u00e9s de production sous-critiques au charbon de 600 MW import\u00e9es de l&#039;\u00e9tranger et fabriqu\u00e9es dans le pays, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en service respectivement en 1990 et 1992, et la deuxi\u00e8me phase du projet consiste \u00e0 \u00e9tendre 2 unit\u00e9s de production au charbon supercritique de 600 MW. unit\u00e9s. Ce projet consiste \u00e0 ajouter des dispositifs de d\u00e9sulfuration des gaz de combustion (FGD) aux unit\u00e9s de production sous-critiques aliment\u00e9es au charbon de 2 x 600 MW de la phase I.
